Lately, I’ve been loving Prada bags. Everything about them just screams gorgeous to me. One of my favorite Prada handbags at the moment is the Prada Wax Pleated Leather Dual Handle Tote in Ivory. The color; the hardware; the structute; the style.. let’s put it this way I love pretty much everything about this bag. It’s very rare that I think a white bag is stunning, in fact I never like white handbags. The whole dirty factor really bothers me, but with this particular bag being leather you have nothing to worry about. A few wipes and the bag is clean. Also, another amazing feature is that the handbag has a hidden magnetic closure.

The bowler bag is not only a lovely handbag, but it is also very unique. It’s accented with gorgeous gold hardware, has double handles as well as a detachable shoulder strap, and even has a zip top closure with an optional combination lock. Maybe it’s just me but it’s not everyday that I see a handbag come with a combination lock. Most purses do come with signature locks, but a combination lock strikes me as being quite different.

For this upcoming fall, purple hued bags are definitely going to be a hot trend. I’ve already seen so many different shades and textures of the color, ranging from glossy, crinkled deep purple to buttery, smooth vibrant purple leather. And here we have the Prada Violet Stripes lambskin bag, which is a gorgeous tone. I like this purse because it’s simple, but really stands out from the violet and textured leather with stripes. Also, I love the golden Prada logo because I think it’s a nice little accent to the purple.

This beauty is made of supple lambskin, which means it’s extra soft. Though at the same time, it’s also extra delicate and can scratch easily. But really, who doesn’t like soft buttery leather? Anyways, it has a magnetic snap closure at the top, which adds a little secuirty. Though I’d personally prefer a zippered closure. It measures 16″ x 13″ x 5.5″, which is a great everyday size to fit what you need to carry.

Prada has already released their resort 2009 accessories, and this new version of the Cervo Antik Tote is a standout purse. The Oversized Cervo Antik Tote is perfect for toting around work papers, and even a laptop thanks to its size. Versatile enough to work year round, and even as a carry-on, this might be a winner for those who can afford it’s honkin’ price tag. At a whooping $2,250, the bag might be an investment if it’s the one bag of the year, but since it’s an old bag in a new color way, I’m hoping this price isn’t reflective of the place Prada accessories are heading.

I was getting tired of the whole buckle hardware at the center of a flap clutch look.  But leave it to Prada to offer a great version that looks fresh and new.  The rich leather on this Vit Mordore Buckle Clutch is the best Italian tanneries have to offer.  Even from the photo you can see the thick grain and shiny finish of this clutch.  I also like the size of the Vit Mordore.  At 9″ long and 5″ tall, this clutch is slightly over sized.  And it is perfect to fit a few extra things you may want with you during your night out.

I don’t know what I’m more envious of: the fact that Sandra Bullock’s new on-screen love interest is Ryan Reynolds, or that she gets to carry this gorgeous tan Prada purse during filming. Okay, it’s the handbag. The sophisticated but fresh purse is a nice compliment to the sleek black suit Sandra wore for the filming of “The Proposal,” and sports luxe details like buckled straps and beautiful topstitching. Prada Pizzo S Satchel
Mama mia! I haven’t seen this much lace since the “Like a Virgin” video debuted. I’m actually not sure what to make of this new Prada Pizzo S Satchel. The black lace overlay is gorgeous and evidence of true artistry, and there’s a mysterious, moody Italian Catholic essence that I find appealing, but, realistically, it’s just not going to find up in my closet. The problem - in case you haven’t guessed by now - is the overstuffed ruched lace that trims the purse’s frame; it’s just way too much, like a magician’s never-ending handkerchief. More…
