Bad, bad, bad. Naughty Versace! Tacky women with too much money on their hands should not be encouraged. You know that right now this bag is slung over the bony shoulder of a woman who walked straight out of the trailer and into a fat man’s wealthy lap. This bag is graced with gaudy details and a screaming colour. In fact, take the shoulder strap away and throw a cross on it and this purse could be the long lost sister to my “Little Ms. Nurse” bag from when I used to play doctor (That bag was long ago retired, for house calls I now use a Kor). For those women who care, this purse costs $1499. It’s a little more than a month’s rent at the park, but hey, Versace thinks you’re worth it!

I love the look of the straps that go from back to front and make up the “basket”. The chain-link and leather strap are also a great touch. It does, however, have a bit of a “motorcycle mama” feel to me, which is never a good thing in my book.

This shoulder bag could be so classy with it’s golden hardware and metallic bronze leather, but then the bag has to be covered with that horrible fabric. This particular bag isn’t nearly as bad as some of those popular Louis or Fendi bags. Note to self ladies, not only are those bags unattractive, but people will assume they are knock-offs when they see them.

Every now and again (or a little more frequently for those of us with diagnosed purse addictions) a bag comes along that is irresistible. The Versace Jacquard Empire tote has a halo of light around it and the angels rejoice at the price, at $1060 this bag is an absolute Versace bargain!
The architecture of this bag makes me tingle. The shape is nautical and the colour is refreshing in a season of muted earth tones. But it is the straps that really kill me. They are like scarves around the bed post. This is probably the sexiest, most interesting bag I have EVER seen.

If the devil is in the details, it’s entirely appropriate that Versace’s Small Patent Bag is red – deep, unforgettable, fire engine red. As glossy as your favorite MAC Lipglass, this little stunner is just made for showing off. Its body is decorated with sassy silver-tone studs and hardware, and it features a simple logo plate on the front. Versace has never shied away from sassy styles, and this is no exception – it’s one handbag with a knack for attracting some serious attention! For maximum impact, pair it with a toned down outfit. All eyes are guaranteed to be trained on this devilish little bag.

It’s Poppy love with this classic framed bag in a fun and festive red and white floral print and silver-toned hardware. It may not be the season for this bag where you live now but it would be absolutely fabulous if you’re going away on vacation to a warm tropical place.

Versace’s blue denim and snakeskin framed top handle handbag is, as they say, fabu. It’s got the sort of chic big city appeal associated with true glamour girls – you know the ones. Slouchy and stylish, it’s probably less functional than a more sturdy bag, but a night out on the town usually doesn’t call for more than a few quick, tossed-in items. It’s always nice to have extra space, though, and this handbag provides more than enough. The denim and snakeskin combination is alluring and completely unique.

Oh poor Crocodile Hunter… may he rest in peace. This Versace clutch, while designed before his passing, pays stylish tribute, at least I imagine it that way. The croc-stamped leather straps create a ‘basket’ effect, reminiscent of the ‘bear claw’ pastries I had on a trip in Western Canada. Shiny chic patent leather peeks through the croc leather basket. The closure of this Versace Stamped Croco Patent Clutch is a shiny oversized ball that clicks into the keyhole clasp on the flap. The famed Versace logo can be found on the engraved nameplate and all the embossed studs.

This Versace Lemon Croc Stamped Whipstitch Handbag features combines the look of crocodile with signature ornate details. This handbag features lemon-Yellow crocodile stamped matte leather with goldtone hardware and goldtone chain trim. Double fold top with double magnetic closure Whipstitched handles with multi leather cords looped around logo engraved hooks make this bag one of my favorites right now.

The logo quilted leather and engraved chainlinks do befit the Greek Goddess thespian who is Olympia Dukakis. However, I highly doubt her character Rose Castorini is likely to splurge on this $1830.00 bag anytime soon. The removable gold metallic stripe also comes equipped with two keys to open the locks. The engraved “Versace Couture” nameplate is not exactly for those who like their luxury to be subtle.
