Whoa, mama! New York City – where Katie Holmes is starring on Broadway – seems to be having a positive effect on the starlet’s style. Jean shorts may not be everyone’s taste, but I love jolt of sass they give her. The black tights, menswear-inspired layering, and garnet-hued scarf add up to a fabulous autumn ensemble. And of course we can’t forget that fantastic Hermes Birkin purse (a loaner from Victoria Beckham, perhaps?). It ties the look together and delivers a touch of class without feeling stuffy. Love it!
